Amanda and William didn’t let the coronavirus ruin their wedding day. I’m so glad they decided to go forward with an intimate wedding on their original date! About a month before their wedding, they had to make the extremely difficult decision to cut their guest list from 250 to 25 people and proceed with an intimate ceremony and dinner reception at Benvenue Country Club. I know the planning process was so hard for Amanda and William, but their day was every bit as classic, romantic, and magical as you can imagine.

They had a beautiful intimate ceremony with their closest friends and family at William’s church, St. Andrews Episcopal. This was a special place for them to get married because William grew up going to this church. One of my favorite moments of the ceremony, was seeing Amanda walk down the aisle with her sweet meemaw by her side. William had a big smile and even got a little choked up seeing his beautiful bride come down the aisle!

Their beautiful wedding reception was held at the Benvenue Country Club, only 5 minutes from their ceremony site. The reception felt so cozy, romantic, and elegant. It was a DREAM! All of their guests were welcomed to cocktail hour with a live pianist and saxophone player. After having to cancel their band, they decided to not do any traditional dances at their reception. They were planning to have a cocktail hour with a formal sit down dinner.

William asked if the pianist could play the song that was originally going to be their first dance, and they were able to have their first dance! It was so romantic, and Amanda was so surprised. I am SO happy they were able to have their first dance as husband and wife, and it was just the most amazing last minute surprise for Amanda to hear.

I was completely wowed by all of the vendors that came together to pull off this incredible wedding for them! The staff at the Benvenue Country Club was incredible, and the food was amazing (thank you for the cheesecake #blessed). The planner and floral team were the BEST to work with, and helped make all of Amanda’s dreams come true!

Amanda and William, your wedding was every bit as wonderful as you two are. Congratulations you guys!! I could not be more excited for you!!! Enjoy your honeymoon at Sea Island Resort!
