Maddy and John had a beautiful October wedding ceremony at Fellowship Baptist Church, and a reception filled with family and friends at the Pavilion at Carriage Farm in Raleigh, NC. The forecast called for rain ALL day, but they didn’t let it stop them from having the wedding of their dreams!

One of my favorite things about Maddy and John is how kind they are. Naturally they are the type of person anyone would want to be friends, so they have the absolute best friends and support group. Their large wedding party of 18 made for such a fun day! I am so thankful I got to meet many of their friends and family at their engagement session and Maddy’s bridal portraits!

While this blog post is a small glimpse into some of the highlights of their day, their gallery is going to be filled with hundreds more photos full of laughter, tears, love, and pure joy. Maddy and John’s love for one another is so apparent. Since the second I met Maddy and John, they have felt like close friends of mine. I adore this couple, and I am so excited for the beautiful life they have ahead of them as husband and wife!

The week of their wedding I became ill and was sadly unable to be there, but I prayed for them and thought of them all day long! I am heartbroken I couldn’t be there in person, but I am so grateful for my wonderful associate photographers Maggie Mills and Laney Logan who were able to capture their day so beautifully!
