Jen and Travis traveled all the way to Raleigh from DC for their gorgeous winter wedding ceremony at the Raleigh NC Temple and reception at the Umstead Hotel. Their family came from all over to be with them to celebrate this momentous occasion. I am so happy I was able to be a part of it!

I had so many favorite moments from their wedding day! My favorite part of the day was their exit from the temple. Seeing how happy Jen and Travis were to finally be husband and wife, and seeing their families reactions was such a sweet moment. All evening after their ceremony, Travis and Jen were absolutely giddy with excitement!

After taking family photos and bride and groom portraits at the Raleigh Temple (and a McDonalds pit stop for the bride!), we headed over to the Umstead Hotel to finish up some just married portraits!

Even in the dead of winter, The Umstead has so many beautiful places for portraits. It was the perfect place for their family to enjoy their first time in Raleigh! The Umstead organized a beautiful intimate reception with blue lush table top florals and candles.

As soon as I met Jen and Travis for the first time on their wedding day, I immediately felt like family! They are the kindest people, and I’m so honored to have spent their wedding day with them!

Jen and Travis, thank you so much for having me there to capture your wedding day and celebrate with you! Couples like you remind me why I love my job so much.
