Today on the blog I am answering a SUPER popular question I get asked when prepping for your engagement session: do you have any store suggestions to look at for outfits? YES! I have compiled a small list of some of the BEST stores to shop for your engagement photo outfits!

When looking for an outfit for your engagement session, keep the season in mind! Colder weather may mean layers with warmer and muted color tones. Warmer weather may need breathable options, that won’t show sweat.

Another helpful tip for choosing what to wear is to pick something that flatters your best features! I want you to feel confident and comfortable in your photos, and that starts with choosing an outfit you feel AMAZING in!!

I always tell my ladies to say yes to the dress! They are so flattering, and you can never be overdressed for engagement photos. For my gents, you can never go wrong with a suit. You probably already have one from the last time you were a groomsman!

Softer pastel colors and simple prints photograph so well. Be careful not to choose a shirt with a pattern smaller than a quarter. This pattern size can cause something called chromatic aberration in photos, and it will look too busy.
