I'm Sarah, a North Carolina wedding and portrait photographer who serves couples by providing a genuine and stress free experience. Thanks for stopping by!
I am so excited to finally share this beautiful spring wedding with you all on the blog today! Erin and Dan are the absolute sweetest couple, and they have such a fun group of friends and family!! They originally planned to have a Cayman Islands wedding, but after two pandemic reschedules they opted to stay stateside with their friends and family. Their Cape Hatteras Outer Banks wedding day was absolutely perfect, and as they say, third times the charm!!
I have lived in North Carolina almost my whole life. But, this was my first time seeing the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse so I was so excited to take their portraits here! We found the perfect spot along a walkway to the beach where you could see the lighthouse in the background.
After bride and groom photos we returned home to join their family and friends for a poolside cocktail hour. The pool deck has a deck that comes out into the sound where you can watch the sunset. It was such a beautiful place for a wedding!
Their reception was decorated with their theme for adventure, along with hydrangeas and blue and white ginger jars on each table. Each guest had a personalized wooden name on their plate, and little travel tags with a lighthouse on them as a favor! I had such a fun time getting to know their friends and family!! They had guests who had traveled all over the US to celebrate with them.
Erin and Dan, thank you so much for having me be a part of your day!! This day was so much fun, and after looking through these photos I want to go back to it all!! I hope you all enjoy some of my favorites on the blog!
Thank you to all the amazing vendors from their wedding day!
