Justin and Andrew had a beautiful October wedding at the amazing Inn at Crestwood. The entire drive up the mountain my second shooter, Laney, and I were in absolute AWE of how amazing the fall colors were. There were beautiful views around every turn. I had never been to the Inn at Crestwood before, so I was so excited to shoot their wedding here. I have known Justin for years now, and I am so honored they chose me to be their wedding photographer. They are the kindest people! I have sincerely loved getting to know them as a couple and celebrate them on their wedding day.

One of the downfalls to beautiful mountaintop weddings, is the weather can be a little unpredictable! In Boone it could be raining at the bottom of the mountain, and then completely different at the top. You’d work your way up to the top and it was just foggy, then misting, then sunny, and repeat. They were so patient and flexible with the weather! They decided to keep their plan in place of their beautiful outdoor ceremony.

During their ceremony Andrew and Justin shared one of my new favorite traditions I’ve been seeing lately. I even did it at my own wedding too! For their unity ceremony, instead of the traditional sand ceremony or candle lighting, they had written personal letters to one another sharing what they love about one another. They put these letters into a box with one of their favorite bottles of wine. They will begin the tradition of opening the box on their wedding day to read the letters, write new ones, and so on. This is such a fun new unity ceremony idea. I’ve seen it more commonly lately, and it’s truly something that keeps on giving!

Their outdoor terrace reception space had beautiful views! It was decorated with throughout with string lights, candles, succulents, and fall floral arrangements. After a delicious dinner from the Inn at Crestwood, we moved the party inside to keep warm! Their friends and family were drinking, laughing, and dancing their hearts out all night long. At the end of the night, they had a classic sparkler exit from their reception!

Andrew and Justin, thank you SO much from the bottom of my heart for having me be a part of such a special day! I am so grateful I had the chance to meet your wonderful families and friends and celebrate with them. Congratulations!!!
