Ashlyn and Jason are the sweetest couple, and I absolutely loved getting to be a part of their fall wedding day at Cates Farm at Cane Creek!! Driving to this farm in Hillsborough felt like I was driving through the mountains in peak season with the colors changing.

Ashlyn and her bridesmaids got ready in their suite cozy by a fire and sipping champagne. Her mom helped her into her perfect Morilee a-line wedding dress. Then she had the sweetest surprise first look with her bridesmaids! They hadn’t seen her in her dress before. Their faces say it all, and I always love capturing this moment!

Their beautiful burgundy bridesmaids dresses and assorted fall florals were the perfect combination for this fall wedding. Brushed by Bec did an amazing job on all the florals and I always love working with her!

After the ceremony Ashlyn and Jason celebrated with their wedding party, taking photos together. Then we took bride and groom portraits on the farm. We ventured up the driveway together to find more colorful leaves, open fields, and a peak of the sunset. With a long beautiful veil like hers, we took so many veil portraits! Veil portraits are becoming my favorite images from every wedding day, so you just have to see hers below!!

They had such a fun reception night with their friends and family. There were smores by the campfire, a photobooth, dancing, and of course a sparkler exit to end the night. After their wedding they headed off to their honeymoon in Asheville, NC!! The perfect place to enjoy Fall in NC.
