Rachel and Michael are finally married and I’m so excited to share their fairytale of a wedding day with you! These two are both teachers and have hearts made of gold. When I tell you they are the kindest most loving people it is so true! They could make friends with anyone they meet, and I think that is so clear from the size of their large wedding party they had standing by their side!
In true North Carolina fashion, there was no prediction of any kind of rain in the days leading up to their wedding until about the night before. The rain and storms held off for us until about 15 minutes before their ceremony time. They were just about to move everything into the grand ballroom for an indoor ceremony, but made the last minute decision to go for it as the rain started to lighten up. They were able to have their beautiful outdoor ceremony as guests held umbrellas and the rain slowly came down. As Rachel walked out of the house with her dad on her arm, she looked up at the sky and just laughed. It sprinkled continuously until they shared communion, and everyone put away their umbrellas at the same time. The rain stopped and the skies cleared for them!
