Alyssa and Tyler

Alyssa and Tyler are finally married!! Their wedding day at the Victorian in Youngsville was SO sweet and so special for me to capture! I have known Alyssa now since one of her best friends, Maddy, was a bride of mine in 2020. Alyssa reached out to me right after she got engaged to photograph her wedding day and I was so thrilled!

They had a beautiful summer wedding with champagne and blush colors at The Victorian in Youngsville. This is a beautiful venue is a charming Victorian style home, renovated for the perfect wedding day space with a tented area for outdoor receptions. Alyssa and Tyler had their wedding ceremony on the lawn behind the home, right in front of a large magnolia tree. During their ceremony, Alyssa and Tyler had a tree planting ceremony with soil from their homes. They planted a magnolia tree for their own home!

Some of my favorite moments from their wedding day…

1. Alyssa and Tyler’s first look was SO sweet. They knew they wanted to do a first look so they could share a private moment together and get photos taken before the ceremony. These two are best friends and it was so sweet for them to share this moment of joy together before their wedding!
2. Alyssa had TWO wedding dresses! Right before dinner she changed into her second dress. Her first dress had lots of tulle and a train, with a top layer of lace that resembled small champagne bubbles. The second dress was a sleek satin dress that was so classy and elegant. I loved both of them so much!
3. She got ready with the help of some of her sweet bridesmaids. One of her sisters helped her put on her shoes. Her friend Maddy helped her put on her veil. Her friend Katie helped her put on her earrings. Those earrings had been passed down through their entire friend group to wear on their wedding day. It reminds me of sisterhood of the traveling pants, but with fun pearl earrings on your wedding day!
4. The day of their wedding day was Alyssa’s younger brothers high school graduation date. He missed his graduation ceremony, but they celebrated and recognized him during the reception! It was like having a huge graduation party and wedding in one!
5. Their guest book was from After the Tone! Guests were able to leave a voice recording for the newlyweds to listen back to later on. Such a neat idea!
6. They had a live painter there to paint their wedding ceremony. It was INCREDIBLE to watch the process!
7. They had the most EPIC bubble exit ever! I have never seen so many bubbles at a bubble exit before and it was such a fun send off!
