I am so excited to share a preview of Georgie and Cam’s beautiful Wrightsville Manor wedding! I have known Georgie for a few years now, and even had the privilege of taking her grad photos at UNC Charlotte! When she reached out to me about photographing her wedding day, I was absolutely thrilled! Getting to know her and Cam more as a couple during their engagement session at the NC Museum of Art last spring was so much fun. I knew from our conversations leading up to the wedding day, that these two were going to have such a fun group and party for their wedding day!!

Wrightsville Manor is a beautiful indoor and outdoor white washed brick wedding venue in Wilmington, NC. It’s so close to the beach, and hidden in a beautiful little historic district. It is so charming, and I loved finally getting the chance to shoot here! There are so many beautiful spots for portraits around the property.

Leading up to the wedding day, we were expecting serve weather and rain all day. They made arrangements to have their ceremony and cocktail hour tented, and then miraculously the day of the wedding, the skies totally cleared. We had beautiful sunshine and warm beach weather all day long. They had so many guests travel for their wedding day, and I’m so glad they all got to experience some of the beautiful southern sunshine we love in NC for their wedding day!

Georgie and Cam had beautiful neutral and sage details throughout the wedding day. I loved the simplicity of their green and white floral arrangements, and the neutral details with pops of gold in their reception. Outside of their reception they had an amazing cocktail hour set up on the lawn. There was a full bar, with some amazing apps from A Thyme Savor for guests to enjoy. The lighting in the tent and seating areas really brought their space to the next level.

Some of my favorite moments from their Wrightsville Manor Wedding day!

• Georgie and Cam’s first look! These two are absolutely perfect for one another, and this moment was so special for them to share together on their wedding day!
• After their first look, we took bridal party photos all around the property. This was such a fun group and I loved this part of the day with them!
• At the reception, Cam gave a super sweet speech about their relationship starting off in college. He had everyone laughing, crying, and toasting together.
• They brought out so many fun lights and props during open dancing for people. It was SO much fun and it made for super cool photos!
• They had an amazing sparkler exit, with a jumpsuit outfit change Georgie did during the reception, and she even surprised Cam with a vintage Rolls Royce for their getaway car.

Congratulations Georgie and Cam! I am so excited for you two and I have loved getting to know all your amazing friends and family.
