I am SO excited to share a glimpse of Maddie and Dylan’s modern winter wedding day at The Meadows with you!! I am lucky enough to have been a part of Maddie and Dylan’s proposal at Dix Park, and I was so thrilled when they wanted me to photograph their wedding day! These two are the sweetest people and I’m so honored to call them friends now!

Maddie is the most organized person and she sent me a mood board for their wedding day and I loved being able to see her inspiration and color palette ideas! Her bridesmaids wore beautiful mossy green dresses, and their flowers were white, while hers had some pops of blue and black. The flowers for their wedding day were INCREDIBLE and totally made the whole design.

Before the ceremony Maddie and Dylan did a first look together in front of a stained glass window. Dylan was SO excited to see his bride and they did a personal gift exchange. He gave her the sweetest necklace to wear on their wedding day. After their first look they got to rehearse their first dance in private – it was SO GOOD! We were able to get most of their portraits done before the ceremony with them doing a first look and there were so many beautiful places on the property for photos!

It rained the morning and early afternoon of their wedding day, so we stayed inside for all of their portraits before the ceremony. There are so many indoor areas and places to get variety for portraits indoors, and one of our favorites was the green stained glass door where they did their first look! By the ceremony time the rain clouds had cleared, and we even got to sneak away during cocktail hour for photos with their dog CC and some just married portraits in the field! They are some of my favorites!!

I have so many favorite moments, but here are some to look for on the blog:

• Dylan and the guys had a special celebratory toast before the ceremony with a bottle of Pappy Van Winkle Bourbon!
• Their personal vows during the ceremony had everyone in tears!!!
• They did an epic flower petal toss with their bridal party after the ceremony to celebrate!
• Their sweet dog CC stopped by after the ceremony for a quick family photo with mom and dad!
• Their reception seating chart doubled as a favor table with bottles of sparkling water – so cute and unique!
• PIZZA FOR DINNER !? Yes, please! They had a pizza truck cooking wood fired pizzas for all their guests and it was such a fun idea!
• Maddie is a dancer, so naturally she had the sweetest idea of doing a choreographed first dance together and it was SO beautiful! They danced to Lover by Taylor Swift and it’s my favorite first dance I’ve seen!

Maddie and Dylan – thank you so much for letting me capture some of the sweetest moments for you guys over the past year! I have truly loved getting to know you both and celebrate you during such a special season of life! Congratulations!!!! Here is a little recap of the best day ever!!!
