These two are married and had the most magical December wedding day, and my last wedding of 2022! I’m so excited to share their romantic emerald Christmas wedding at the Sutherland in Wake Forest on the blog with you guys!

Meghan and William are the sweetest couple and I had so much fun getting to know them at their engagement session and celebrating them on their wedding day! You may recognize these two from seeing them on the blog earlier last year and their gorgeous Wrightsville Beach Engagement session!

On their wedding day I loved getting to work with Amanda with Jane Rose Events. Their emerald winter wedding design was so romantic and beautiful, perfect for a December wedding! Meghan’s bridesmaids had satin emerald dresses that had a beautiful shine to them. Pair that with the dreamy white and fluffy bouquets from Once Gathered and you have one stunning bridal party!

Their wedding ceremony aisle was lined with gorgeous white flowers and greenery, and at the end of the aisle was a beautiful grounded arch. This has become a popular trend for wedding ceremonies and I love it! Their cocktail hour was held on the patio next to the estate house with heaters to keep guests cozy. One of my favorite features they had was an accordion wall featuring frames with their seating chart for the reception. It was a beautiful centerpiece for their cocktail hour, and with the balls of lights hanging in the tree behind it was so dreamy as the sun set.

Their reception continued the theme with candles, florals, emerald velvet napkins, and custom name cards at each place setting. Meghan and William sat on one end of the dance floor at their sweetheart table surrounded by flowers and candles and a white loveseat, with farmhouse tables of family and friends on either side. It was a beautiful setting for their romantic winter wedding day!

Here are some favorite moments to look for from their wedding day!

• The bridal details! Meghan told me in her questionnaire she loved the detail photos and was super excited about that, and I was so in love with all the things she gave me! Her custom invitation suite from Ivy and Linen Design Co was perfect for their wedding day!
• Meghan wore a beautiful wedding veil with PEARLS all over it! So pretty, and it was magical for their portraits!
• After the sweetest first look between Meghan and William, their dogs came to visit them! I love that they were able to include their fur babies in a photo on their wedding day! Their dogs were also featured on their koozies!
• They honored the memory of William’s parents at the ceremony with chairs reserved for them, and a table at the reception with their wedding album.
• Meghan and William shared a private last dance before their sparkler exit and it was such a sweet private moment for them to share before their magical day came to an end.

Congratulations Meghan and William!! I am so happy for you two and so grateful to be your photographer! Thank you for trusting me with capturing your special day! It was an absolute DREAM and I’m still on cloud 9! I couldn’t have asked for a better way to end my 2022 wedding season!
