I’m so excited to share some favorites from Gillian’s beautiful spring senior photos at UNC Chapel Hill! I have the honor of doing senior photos for so many amazing tarheel grads each year and I am loving this campus more and more!
Some of my favorite places on UNC’s campus for senior photos are:
In a one hour senior session, we typically hit about 3 of those spots! There are so many beautiful places on campus I know it can be hard to choose, so I always give my grads the option to extend their session for more locations.
Gillian wore a beautiful white dress with classic pearls to pair with her Carolina blue cap and gown. One of my favorite photos from her session was taken when we passed a tree starting to bloom with pink buds on it! The landscaper was actually nearby and saw me trying to take photos of her next to it, and he actually trimmed the tree for me to use a branch and get foreground in the photo. It was AMAZING and still makes me giggle that he did that for us.
If you’re checking out Gillian’s senior photos for some ideas of your own, her session was taken in early April! I love early April grad sessions and recommend them to ALL of my college grads because things are starting to bloom that time of year, and the crowds of grads will be much smaller. At UNC as you get closer to graduation, you can expect very long lines to take senior photos at popular locations like the Old Well. When we did her morning session at UNC in early April, we were the only ones there! Sometimes it’s so worth it to wake up early!
