CJ’s Duke University Grad Photos

Duke University’s campus is one that will take your breath away when you see it in person! It is absolutely beautiful! I love getting to take portraits here, especially for grads! I met up with CJ in April to take his Duke University grad photos around campus and it was so much fun! The beautiful historic campus has places to take photos around every corner.

CJ majored in neuroscience with minors in music and chemistry! He incorporated his studies into his grad session, with his model brain and his cello! I love that he was able to include some things to make his session more personal.

Here are some of the most popular places on Duke’s campus to take senior photos:

• In front of the Chapel Doors
• With the Chapel in the background
• The archways on the sides of Duke Chapel
• Chapel Drive
• Duke Gardens

All of these locations on campus are very close together! It makes it so easy for seniors to get lots of locations for their grad photos, but it does mean lots of crowds around peak grad season! If you’re looking to take your grad photos at Duke the two weeks before graduation, be aware of lots crowds in these locations and plan ahead.

Congratulations to CJ on graduating! CJ found me through his sister, when I did her senior photos at UNC last year! It was so fun to be able to do both of their grad sessions!
