I'm Sarah, a North Carolina wedding and portrait photographer who serves couples by providing a genuine and stress free experience. Thanks for stopping by!
Ryan and Sam are such a fun couple, and I loved getting to know them more at their engagement session at Yates Mill park! These two have been together for about 4.5 years now, and met on New Years Day when they lived in Denver. They first found each other on a dating app (like most of my couples do!!) and they decided to grab coffee together. Ryan had literally just moved there, so it was the perfect timing!
Before these two decided to move to Raleigh together, they went on one last trip out to Grand Lake Colorado to rest and relax. While they were out on a hike together, Ryan got down on one knee and proposed!
We of course had to start out their engagement session with the sweetest boy, Henry! He was the best boy for his parents engagement photos, and even dressed up in his bow tie! These two moved to the Raleigh area recently, so we took photos with Henry at their home, in the front yard and on their porch steps! It was the perfect place for photos!

They also love the outdoors, so for the rest of their engagement session we went right down the road to Yates Mill Park. This was the perfect place for spring engagement photos because of the trails, the small waterfall, and the sunset over the pond. We had so much fun, and even bonded over being some local foodies! After their session, these two headed downtown for a little date night at Crawford & Sons.
Also these two are just the SWEETEST and even gifted me a bottle of rose as a thank you and it made my day, so thank you Ryan and Sam!!
Enjoy some of my favorites from their spring engagement session at Yates Mill Park in Raleigh! The golden hour lighting through the leaves on the pond was stunning! I can’t wait for their wedding day this fall at The Meadows in Raleigh!
Thank you for capturing the true essence of these two…your photos are absolutely beautiful!
