Rachel and Sam had a beautiful summer wedding, and I’m so happy I can finally share her bridal portraits on the blog!! I absolutely LOVE getting to take bridal portraits for so many of my brides each year. It’s one of my favorite southern traditions! The hardest thing for me is keeping them a SECRET for so long!! I knew as soon as I took her bridal portraits at Duke Gardens, I already couldn’t wait to show them on the blog!
Duke Gardens is one of my absolute favorite portrait locations in the Raleigh, NC area. It is absolutely beautiful anytime of year, and one of my all time favorite spots is literally just the entrance! The beautiful rows of cherry blossom trees create the prettiest walkway for portraits.
On the day of Rachel’s bridals, we were carefully watching the weather and we started a little early to beat some storms rolling in. We were able to beat the rain, and get stunning portraits all around the gardens! Towards the end of her session, the sun even came out for us! It was the perfect weather!
Rachel wore a beautiful a-line style wedding gown, with lace and beading all over. It was SO beautiful! One of my favorite details she chose for her wedding day attire was her incredible VEIL! The cathedral length veil with a lace trim was stunning.
