2023 was such a busy and wonderful year, and I am SO so grateful for all of my incredible clients and their families. It has truly been such an honor working with them and getting to capture such special moments for them to relive through photographs. I received so many sweet emails and messages this year expressing so much kindness and gratitude, and even some sweet reminders of why this work is so important. I love my job so much, but it’s truly all for you guys in the end!

At the end of every year, I get all sappy and love to look back at the past year and reflect on all the amazing weddings and incredible peoples’ lives I got to be a part of! I started the tradition last year of doing an annual recap of my weddings, so this is my second annual post!

I am so grateful for all my amazing wedding couples this past year, and I truly adore each of them! In the end I am always so happy to deliver their gallery, but so sad our journey is over! This past year I also had the honor of photographing many of my past wedding couples for anniversaries, mini sessions, and growing families. I love being able to walk through so many precious stages of life with them!

Some highlights for my 2023 wedding season:

• 24 incredible weddings!
• 17 different venues all around North Carolina
• 31 beautiful engagement sessions
• 6 bridal portrait sessions
• 32 graduates!
• 27 various other sessions
• Photographed 17 different dogs for so many couples!! See more of them HERE!
• Attended a photography workshop in Charleston that helped shift my perspective as an artist
• Second photographed four beautiful weddings for close friends
• Photographed weddings for sweet friends, new and old!
• Trained my husband to second shoot and we did our first wedding together! A true dream!
• My most popular venue of 2023 was Carolina Grove, one of my favorites! I had 5 different weddings at this beautiful Hillsborough venue!
• Participated in two different open houses for the first time!
• Joined my first professional membership
• Truly honed in on my style
• Consistently had Google be my #1 source of referrals!
• Made SO many new amazing friends, both clients and vendors!

I can’t believe how fast this past year went by! It is truly so magical to look back on all these special moments from each wedding day as I tried to pick a few photos to showcase below.
