Hannah and Sam

I’m so excited to share some highlights from Hannah and Sam’s dream wedding day! These two had such a beautiful and romantic estate wedding day in one of the places that means the most to them, her family’s home in North Carolina.

Hannah originally found me when she was looking for a photographer to capture her senior photos at Meredith College. I’m so happy she did because I have absolutely loved capturing her photos throughout the past couple years and during some of her biggest moments so far! First we did senior photos at Meredith with one of her best friends, then engagement photos at Eno River State Park, her bridal portraits, and then her wedding day. It has been the greatest honor to follow her throughout so many exciting stages of her life so far!

Can you just picture how magical it is to walk out the back door of your family home into your yard, full of all your friends and family with your soulmate waiting for you at the end of the aisle? That moment truly captures how special their wedding day was. Their wedding ceremony was so sweet, and there were so many happy tears shed. Everything about their wedding felt so natural and happy and you could tell it was so obvious these two are perfect for one another.

After the ceremony these two were greeted by friends and family at the front of the house with more hugs and happy tears. We took their family photos, some just married portraits, and they were off to enjoy time together with guests. Their reception space was decorated so beautifully with tents, string lights, umbrellas, and florals with greenery. I loved working with Your Perfect Day NC who not only planned their romantic estate wedding, but did all the amazing flowers too! It was so incredible to see their backyard be transformed into a dream reception space.

Moments to look for on the blog…

• Hannah has 4 amazing younger sisters who all got to be a part of the wedding day! Her two youngest sisters are twins and I love the photos of them looking at her wedding dress!
• Sam and Hannah’s first look together was one of my favorite moments of the day. You could tell they were just SO happy to be together and finally see one another. The rest of the day just fell so perfectly into place.
• At their first look they gave each other personalized gifts. Sam works with maps, so Hannah made him a print with coordinates from all of their significant moments together. It was so perfect for him! Sam also gifted Hannah a sweet book of photos together throughout dating and their engagement. It was so special for them to relive those moments together looking through those photos right before the wedding ceremony.
• The teal and blue green colors of the bridesmaid dresses were so beautiful with the pink, peach and white flowers!
• The flowers all day were so amazing, from the entrance to the front of the house, to the back yard and reception details. Your Perfect Day NC truly transformed their backyard into a DREAM wedding venue.
• During the ceremony, one of Hannah’s younger sisters was crying so much seeing her walk down the aisle and get married and it was SO sweet. All the happy tears photos are some of my favorites from this day!
• At the end of the night Hannah and Sam exited their wedding in a yellow convertible, which was the same car her parents rode in for their high school homecoming. It was so amazing to see them use the same car and I know this had to have been so special for her parents!

Congratulations Hannah and Sam! Your wedding day was truly amazing and getting to relive it through these images and make this blog post has me all in my feels. I can’t believe it’s already over! Thank you SO much for trusting Spencer and I to capture your wedding day. It was the greatest honor to be a part of the beginning of your forever.
