Fall Wedding at Carolina Grove

These two high school sweethearts were officially married this past fall and had such a beautiful, fun wedding day at Carolina Grove! I absolutely loved getting to know Morgan and Vic throughout their engagement and capture their peachy fall wedding day. These two have been together since high school math class. It’s clear to anyone who meets them that they were made for one another.

Morgan and Vic are from the Charlotte area, and looked all over for the perfect place to say I Do. As soon as they found Carolina Grove nestled in the woods of Hillsborough, they fell in love! This is one of my favorite local venues, and probably my most popular one I get to photograph at! I adore every corner of this property, and more importantly the people who work there!! Every wedding I get to be at Carolina Grove is a dream!

One thing I loved about their wedding day was how emotional it was. It truly was such a happy day, and so many joyful tears were shed. When you have a couple who have been together for over eight years getting married, they’ve gone through so much together and had such an incredible support group there to celebrate them and this new stage of their life!

Another thing I loved from their wedding were the traditions they incorporated into their reception! I learned so much, and it was SUCH a fun reception with all the events they had happening! One of the things they did was Morgan and Vic walked around to each table at the end of dinner and guests all pinned money on the veil and on the groom as a wedding gift.

Here are some highlights to look for…

• Morgan’s diamonds! She works at a diamond store, so of course she was decked out in the perfect set of diamonds for the wedding day!
• Vic’s reaction to seeing Morgan walking down the aisle! It was so sweet!
• All the beautiful blush and gold details
• Their romantic first dance on the dance floor as a married couple
• The fun traditions they incorporated at the reception!
• Two roosters ice cream made an appearance to treat their guests
• The signature sparkler send off!
