Get ready to SWOON because I’m about to take you on a whirlwind adventure through two of my favorite spots in the City of Oaks: the trendy Warehouse District in Downtown Raleigh and the picturesque fields of Dix Park. Bronwyn and David’s Dix Park Engagement session was so much fun, and I’m thrilled to share some of my favorites on the blog!

Bronwyn and David are college sweethearts and met while at NC State together. Fun fact: their wedding party is all NC State grads – go Pack! They recently tied the knot this spring in downtown Raleigh at the beautiful Merrimon-Wynne, so I’m throwing it back to their amazing engagement session because it was a blast!

For their engagement photos, they decided to incorporate the best of both worlds with the modern architecture of the warehouse district in downtown Raleigh, and the open fields of dix park. I love that we were able to capture the skyline in both locations!

We started their session with a fun and trendy look for rooftop photos at The Dillion. Brownyn brought a bottle of champagne and the cutest glasses. I also love that we were able to do some fun photos in the elevator here!

As the sun began to set, we made our way to the open fields at Dix Park. One of my favorite spots for photos here is in front of the flower cottage, where I can find flowers in the spring and summer! The open fields behind it are my favorite for running, jumping, and capturing all kinds of fun moments together. I love ending sessions here because you’re all warmed up and ready to do fun silly things together!
