Lauren and Nick

I’m so excited to showcase Lauren and Nick’s beautiful fall wedding day at The Pavilion at Carriage Farm on the blog with you all! It’s almost been one whole year since these two said I Do, and now they have a perfect little newborn at home! I have absolutely loved working with them over the years and I’m honored to be a part of so many sweet moments for them!

Raleigh Wedding at the Pavilion at Carriage Farm

Lauren started the day by getting ready with her girls in their upstairs bridal suite. It was such a great space to get ready with friends. While getting ready and prepping for the day, we did get a few rain storms! It ended up stopping just before their ceremony, but to keep everyone dry and comfy they decided last minute to get married inside the Pavilion – and it was sooo perfect! What a beautiful backup option for your ceremony! I loved the stone fireplace for a cozy warm vibe.

Nick was so incredibly happy to see his beautiful bride for the first time coming down the aisle! They had the sweetest ceremony and their parents came up to pray over them. After the ceremony, guests were able to enjoy cocktail hour outdoors on the patio while the couple took family photos and photos with their wedding party. I love the greenery around this venue for portraits!

Before the evening reception began, Lauren and Nick were able to head up the hill to the field for more portraits together. We even got the smallest glimpse of sunset at golden hour! I love cloudy weather on wedding days, but that beautiful sunset lighting filtering through the trees was the icing on the cake.

Here are some highlights to look for…

• All the classy black and green details! I loved seeing these colors and fun textures for a fall wedding!
• Lauren and Nick’s “first touch” where they held hands and read letters to one another before the ceremony began.
• Their amazing classic car they had for photos!
• They partied hard on the dance floor all night long and have so many fun photos! I love the glow sticks they had on the dance floor, and the marquee letters for a fun photo backdrop!
• The fun sparkler exit to end the night!
