Anna and Matthew’s winter wedding at The Upchurch was pure magic! There’s something so enchanting about Christmas-time weddings. From the moment you walked into the venue, you were immediately embraced by a cozy, romantic atmosphere that was perfect for their big day.

This historic home with modern charm was the ideal setting. Each December, The Upchurch is adorned with winter greenery and sparkling Christmas trees, creating not only a festive but also an elegant backdrop—and a stunning photo opportunity for their guests.

When I look back at their photos, all I can think about is how happy these two were! One of my favorite moments was their first look—their smiles were absolutely priceless. Then during the ceremony the glow of candles lining the aisle made their vows even more magical, while their loved ones wiped away happy tears.

After the ceremony, we stepped outside to capture golden hour portraits on the lawn while guests enjoyed a cozy cocktail hour inside. Winter golden hour passes quickly, but the light is always so stunning! I especially adore their portraits as newlyweds. Later, the conservatory was transformed into a reception space filled with candles, white florals, greenery, and gold accents. It was the perfect spot for their loved ones to come together, celebrate, and dance the night away.

Anna and Matthew’s day was overflowing with love and joy, and it was truly an honor to capture it. Cheers to a lifetime of happiness for these two!
