Sarah and Nate

Sarah and Nate are married! I loved getting to know them both more and getting to capture their sweet winter wedding day at Merrimon-Wynne in Raleigh! I met them for their engagement session in December of 2023 where we took photos with their sweet pups at the NC Museum of Art. We had so much fun and then when they booked me to be their wedding photographer I was so ecstatic! They are the sweetest people and I left their wedding day geniuninely feeling so grateful and happy to have been a part of their day!

Winter Wedding at Merrimon-Wynne

They got married at the beautiful Merrimon-Wynne House in downtown Raleigh. Their wedding colors were whites and golds with pops of blue, it was so pretty and elegant for a winter wedding day. The wonderful Events by La Fete helped bring this beautiful design and vision to life and it was so perfect! One of my favorite parts about photographing weddings at this local venue is the goregous interior space for photos. There is so much beautiful natural lighting, it will never get old!!

Sarah and Nate had one of their best friends officiate their wedding and it was so meaningful to have someone so close to them tell their story. They were SO excited to be officially married they did their first kiss and immediately ran back down the aisle, haha! Since they did a first look before the ceremony, they were able to do family photos and go right off to cocktail hour. One of my favorite parts of a wedding day is having all your friends and family in the same room, so this was a great way for them to spend time with them!

At the reception Sarah’s father surprised the crowd with coming out for his speech to star wars music in a costume! It was a hit and I love that they were able to laugh and have fun together on their wedding day. Then they danced the night away with their friends to 90’s music. It was such a fun night!!

Congratulations to Sarah and Nate!! Wishing them both a lifetime of happiness and love. Their wedding day was a true testament to how fun it is to marry your best friend!
