Emily and Connor’s downtown Raleigh engagement photos were the sweetest! These two are were so fun and they brought their adorable golden doodle, Goose (you guys know I love a sweet pup)! Goose was not only part of their engagement photos, but also joined them for their wedding day at Merrimon-Wynne! I always love when couples include their pets, and Goose was definitely a star for both days.

We explored some of my favorite spots and they brought two outfits giving them a fun variety of looks. Emily started in a cute neutral tank and jeans, perfect for playful shots with Goose. She changed into a stunning white dress for her second outfit showcasing a more classic look. Connor coordinated perfectly and kept things easy and relaxed.

These two met in college at NC State, so photographing them around Raleigh felt like the perfect fit for their story. Their chemistry is so natural, and it felt like I was just tagging along on one of their date nights. Whether they were laughing on the cobblestone streets of City Market or holding hands on the Boylan Bridge, each moment felt authentically them. Goose was the happiest third wheel the whole time, wagging his tail and stealing the show in every frame.

Emily and Connor are the kind of couple who make photographing love feel easy and effortless. I had the best time with them and cannot wait to share more from their wedding day soon! For now, enjoy some of my favorites of their downtown Raleigh engagement photos with their sweet pup.
