Abby and Jack’s spring wedding at Carolina Grove was romantic, intimate, and filled with so many meaningful details that made the day feel deeply personal from start to finish. Set against the quiet, tree-lined backdrop of one of North Carolina’s most serene venues! Their wedding day felt calm, intentional, and full of heart. There were so many details and moments that made me remember why I love my job so much!!
Their love story began long before the wedding day, with a proposal that felt straight out of a romance novel. While traveling through England, they took a day trip into the countryside and went for a walk together, eventually finding their way up to an English garden at the top of a hill. Jack was nervous, and in that quiet, beautiful moment, he asked Abby to marry him. It was the perfect beginning to a day that would reflect the same sense of intimacy and thoughtfulness.
From the moment Abby and Jack started planning, they knew Carolina Grove was where they wanted to get married. They were drawn to how peaceful and secluded the venue felt. Their wedding party reflected that same closeness, made up of Abby’s two sisters and Jack’s brother and dad, which made the day feel even more special!
One of my favorite details was Abby’s long cathedral lace veil, embroidered with both of their names. It was such a beautiful and unique touch to her wedding day look! After getting dressed she had a private moment to reveal her wedding day look with her dad and two sisters, and everyone was in tears!
Spring weather kept us on our toes, but we were able to avoid the rain for most of the day. When the ceremony moved indoors, the result was absolutely jaw-dropping. Talk about a backup option – you can’t even tell because it’s so stunning!!! It was truly a perfect ceremony for them, with so many sweet and emotional moments. I loved looking over and seeing Abby’s whole family in tears of joy – one of my favorite photos from the day!
Abby and Jack’s Carolina Grove spring wedding was a perfect reflection of who they are: romantic, intentional, and loving. They included so many of their special people in this day and it was such a wonderful way to start their new chapter. Wishing them a lifetime of love and happiness!
