Lynley and Will

These two had the most beautiful October wedding day at Carolina Grove and I’m so excited to share a recap on the blog with you! I absolutely loved working with them throughout their engagement. They were always so much fun to be around and had the most chill vibes on their wedding day!

Lynley and Will met their first year of medical school and then matched for their residency together. Will proposed the day after Christmas with his grandmother’s ring and a scavenger hunt. He had the final scavenger hunt card tied around their dog zuzu’s neck. She said it was the best gift ever!

They had a colorful fall wedding day at the beautiful Carolina Grove in Hillsborough. This is always one of my favorite venues to photograph weddings at! The beautiful light and airy interior with tall ceilings lets in so much beautiful natural light. They said their I dos with the backdrop of the woods and it was so romantic and intimate. I especially love the outdoor space for cocktail hour under the string lights! It was such a beautiful day for a wedding!

Here are some highlights to look for…

• The incredible stationery designed by Champagne Maker! Her water color designs of their monogram and the venue are stunning and I loved photographing them.
• All of the flowers were grown especially for their wedding day by one of her bridesmaids! I am in awe of how much love and time this sweet friend poured into their wedding day for them. They were beautiful!
• Their large bridal party was so much fun and they were so encouraging and supportive the entire day. I especially love how calm they all were, it was such a wonderful atmosphere to be surrounded by!
• They had a number of kids at their wedding, so they made personalized coloring books featuring drawings about them and their story together. It was such a fun idea to keep the little ones entertained!
• Their sweet pups were featured on top of the cake in little clay model look a likes! They also had specialty cocktails named after them. They love their dogs so much, so it was fun to see them included in the day!
• They had a live band at their reception that played such incredible music and kept everyone dancing all night!
