Lizzie’s Bridals at The Farmstead

Lizzie is finally MARRIED and I am so excited to share her beautiful bridals at The Farmstead in Mt. Pleasant with you all on the blog!! She and Josh had the most magical wedding day, and it was my last fall wedding of a busy season. I’m so happy I got to end my season with these two, because their wedding day was truly so much fun and full of so much joy!

Bridal portraits are always one of my favorite parts of the pre-wedding festivities! It’s a fun southern tradition that a lot of people don’t know about! You get to get all dressed up before the wedding day, do a full trial of your hair, makeup, dress fitting, and see the full look! This is definitely one of my favorite perks of choosing to do one since it’s the perfect test run! Doing your bridal portrait session separately also gives you plenty of time to get beautiful portraits and in multiple locations, since on the wedding day time will be super valuable and limited.

I absolutely love Lizzie’s bridal look! One of my favorite features is the cute off the shoulder formal look that actually comes off so she could party later on!! Her beautiful satin dress also had buttons all the way down the back. She wore a long veil that also had a blusher! She knew she wanted to have a blusher and it was so romantic and dreamy. Funny enough, she was so excited to get down the aisle and see Josh that she forgot to put it over her head! Her dad and her stopped down the aisle to try and put it on but couldn’t figure it out, so it was the cutest silly candid moment for them! I think it’s okay it wasn’t on because we could see how hard she was cheesing down the aisle and it is just so heart warming!!!
