Codi and Zach are the sweetest people you will ever meet. I am so excited to share some previews from their Timberlake House wedding day on the blog! They are the kind of people you could talk with for hours easily, they are so welcoming, and they are so relaxed–even when it rains on their wedding day!! The forecast leading up to their wedding day was not looking hot, I won’t lie. It was supposed to pour all day. Thankfully it did not, and we had an amazing venue to work with for beautiful portraits rain or shine!!

It was shortly before the ceremony when they decided to keep their original plan of their outdoor porch ceremony because the weather had lightened up. It held off long enough for them to have the ceremony of their dreams on the front porch of the Timberlake House.

Not only are the the sweetest people in general, but Zach had one of the sweetest first look reactions ever as he saw Codi walk down the aisle with her grandpa. This is always my favorite moment of every wedding!! They have such a fun group of friends who stood by their side, crying along and cheering them on. I am also in love with the bridesmaid dresses and florals she chose for her wedding! Pink peonies in October? Yes, please!!

This couple goes to prove that rain or shine your wedding day will still be amazing, fun, and totally you. I am so happy I was their photographer, and I can’t wait to see them again SOON at their best friends wedding in November!! Codi and Zach, thank you so much for allowing me to capture your wedding day. I loved meeting your sweet friends and family and I am so so excited for you to experience the absolute joy of marriage. Congratulations you two, and I hope you have fun on your honeymoon in Jamaica!!!
