Emily and Sam met on a dating app and even though they were states away, distance couldn’t stop them from falling in love. Sam lives in North Carolina, and Emily is from Pittsburgh. They got engaged in September and planned their perfect February wedding day at Seven Paths Manor outside of Raleigh.
This was my first time at Seven Paths Manor and it was beautiful! This home was bought by a family in 2018 and turned into a wedding venue. It has over 130 acres and so many places to take photos. The owner Shayla, used to be a photographer too! Their ceremony site was next to the house in front of a pond where hundreds of string lights hung above.
Emily had a beautiful satin wedding dress. Her bridal details were so classic and elegant. She even had a white fur cover to keep warm, but we unexpectedly had warm weather early in February! The weather for their wedding day was absolutely perfect. After the sun went down it got a little chilly, but we all kept warm in the covered reception area while they danced the night away with their guests.
One of my favorite things at their reception was the Pittsburgh cookie bar!! There were SO many amazing types of cookies there, and this is a fun tradition from Pittsburgh that Emily brought to Raleigh for their wedding day.
Emily and Sam, I loved getting to meet your friends and family on your wedding day! Thank you so much for choosing me to be your photographer. View some of my favorite sneak peeks on the blog!!
