Tamika chose an elegant long white dress for her Wake Forest maternity session this past summer. I always love long dresses for portrait sessions, but especially maternity photos! East Carroll Joyner Park in Wake Forest, NC was filled with open fields, tall grass, tall oak trees, and yellow wildflowers. This all made for perfect backdrop for this session, and I have loved shooting at this location ever since!

She and I have known each other for a long time, so when she contacted me about doing maternity photos I was so excited for her and of course wanted to do them! We go all the way back to knowing each other in Middle and High School!! Now she is expecting her first baby arriving November 2020!

She is naming her baby boy Chasten, and said she met someone in middle school with the name and thought is was great, and kept to it ever since then! I love the name Chasten, and I can tell that he he is so so loved by his family already.

Tamika brought her amazing mother and one of her best friends, who is basically a sister, to help her with her session and it is so easy to see how loved this momma and baby boy are. It was also so lovely to have them there to cheer her on and support her!
