Hallie & Olivia

Congratulations to Hallie and Olivia! These two ladies are best friends and roommates graduating from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. We took their UNC grad photos around the campus this April to celebrate!

The week we took their grad photos, was actually the week the UNC went to Louisiana to play in the final four against Duke! Hallie and Olivia ended up last minute snagging student tickets to Louisiana to watch the final four and championship games! We rescheduled their senior session to when they got back, and they said it was SO much fun being there in person to watch UNC beat Duke!

For their grad photos, we started out taking pictures at the Bell Tower. This is one of my favorite spots on campus because of the beautiful light blue tiles all on the ceiling. They popped some champagne together and drank out of the “He’s Not Here” blue cups. Then we walked up the quad to the seal found on the ground in front of South Building. This is also another popular spot for grads to sit on the ground and get a photo next to the seal.

The most popular spot on UNC’s campus to take photos and visit is the Old Well. The tradition says that you should drink from the fountain on your first day of classes to get a 4.0. The fountain has been taken out since the pandemic, but the school did send out little bottles of “well water” for everyone to have their good luck drink!

Before finishing up their session, they did a quick outfit change into a casual tshirt and jeans and we took some photos at Kenan Memorial Stadium. I absolutely love taking grad photos here!

I loved getting to go around UNC’s campus with these two ladies. They are SO sweet, and I’m so happy I got to be their senior photographer!! Congratulations Hallie and Olivia!!
