Kelsey and Jonathan are getting married!! Not to mention, these two met for the first time way back in middle school! They have been dating for four years and Jonathan proposed to her this past fall at a mill near their home church, the same place he asked her to be his girlfriend four years ago! These two are the sweetest pair, you can tell how much they love each other just from meeting them!

Despite this being a January engagement session, the weather in Wake Forest was perfect! It was only a little chilly and windy this day, thanks NC!! The winter lighting was perfect through the trees for golden hour!

First of all, I love the color tones Kelsey chose for their outfits for this outdoor session at East Carroll Joyner Park in Wake Forest. It was perfect for the open fields and tall grass at this park! I always recommend my couples choose two outfits for their engagement sessions! This way you have two looks to choose from! The first being more casual, like something you would wear for date night, and the second outfit is more formal and dressed up! You can never be overdressed for engagement photos!

Also, Kelsey found me through her best friend Codi, who also happens to be a 2021 SHP Bride!!
