I am seriously SO excited to share some favorites of Whitney and Colby’s Merrimon-Wynne Raleigh engagement session!!! From the moment I talked with Whitney on the phone about her wedding day, I knew they were going to be so much fun. I was sooo right! As soon as I met them the day of their session, we were instantly friends.

Whitney and Colby met right before the pandemic hit, and have barely spent any time a part since then. They are two peas in a pod, and completely perfect for one another. Colby proposed to her on her birthday while they were on one of their favorite hikes. Now they are planning their perfect wedding day together with Viva L’Event at the Merrimon-Wynne House in downtown Raleigh!

I can totally tell that Whitney read my client style guide for her engagement session. We worked together to coordinate some outfits for them the week of her session. She loves the color blue (me too!!) so of course they had to incorporate that into their outfits. Colby even had her engagement ring custom made with blue stones!! They both look amazing and I’m obsessed with both outfits they chose!

One of my favorite parts from their engagement session is how Colby brought his guitar to play. She mentioned she loves when he plays guitar for her, so it was so special to incorporate that into their session! They are planning to use this guitar as their guest book on their wedding day for everyone to sign. What a fun idea!
