Jane and Matt are getting married this February and I am so excited for their winter wedding day! They decided they would love to take their engagement photos in Downtown Raleigh, because that is where Matt proposed! He dropped a knee just off the cobblestone streets of the Market District in downtown. We even took a photo of them right where he proposed!

Downtown Raleigh is a favorite location of mine for engagement photos! There is so much variety possible within a short walk. We started their engagement session in the City Market with cobblestone roads, string lights, and brick buildings. Then we walked up bustling Fayetteville street toward the Capitol. This area was perfect for their fall engagement photos, because we were able to get the best of both worlds by having greenery spots and city streets.

These two are the sweetest couple, and I vividly remember laughing so much during their engagement session!! At one point they even got photobombed by a squirrel, so of course I had to include that in their blog post!
