Wow! What can I say but wow. What an AMAZING spring wedding day at Carolina Grove for Rachel and Max! I adore this sweet couple, and I was so excited to see them again after their engagement session this past fall.
Rachel and Max have been dating for almost 5 years now, and they are just perfect for one another. So many people reiterated that in their toasts and speeches to the couple. They truly are soulmates for one another. There is a Jewish word I learned to describe this called beshert, meaning it was meant to be.
I love that on wedding days I get to know my couples even more, and hear about their relationship over the years. These have bonded over things like trips to Irasel together, sharing their ice cream, their love of adventuring in the outdoors, and of course their sweet dog Luna.
After the ceremony outdoors, Rachel and Max stepped away to have a few moments alone to enjoy their wedding day together as a Jewish tradition. The cocktail hour was set up on the side of the venue, with a tent, lounge sets, lawn games, and cocktail tables all around for their guests to enjoy custom drinks and hor dourves. It was the perfect spring day to enjoy a day outside.
Since Rachel and Max did a first look, they were able to do many of their photos before the ceremony! They were able to attend cocktail hour, and then spend more time with their guests! Rachel is from New York, and Max is from Chicago, so this was a destination wedding here in Hillsborough for all their guests. They threw such a fun wedding reception for all their guests to enjoy, with a live band, too! A-Town List, an AMAZING live band, kept them on the dance floor all night long! I wish this band could be at every wedding ever, becauseiIt was SO much fun!
At the end of the night, Two Roosters Ice Cream came out for all their guests to enjoy some local ice cream. It was a fun dessert alternative to a wedding cake that everyone enjoyed, and it’s one of Rachel and Max’s favorites!
This amazing wedding day wouldn’t have been possible without their incredible vendor team! A special thank you to Bethany and the wonderful Harmony Weddings and Events team. Having a wedding planner is so important for wedding days, and this team was incredible to work with. They are SO on top it of, and I loved getting to work with them all! This day was an absolute breeze because of them. For a full list of their amazing vendors, scroll to view the bottom of this blog post!
