Briana and Austin

These two high school sweethearts are finally married and it was the greatest joy to be able to capture their wedding day!! Briana and Austin had a beautiful faith and family filled wedding at Amazing Graze Barn in Louisburg, NC.

Briana and Austin saw each other for the first time in a coffee shop, and she left before he got the chance to get up and talk to her. Fate was definitely on their side though, because they were both in the same admitted students group chat for UNC. She saw him in there and messaged him first, and then they started dating right around their high school graduation. It was perfect timing, and such a cute story of how they met!

When I first spoke to Briana and Austin about their wedding day, Austin said he would marry her no matter where or what, and that marrying her was the most important thing. On their wedding day they encountered lots of storms, and lots and lots of rain. They knew that no matter the weather, their marriage was most important. These two absolutely radiated pure joy all day long, and it was truly the sweetest day. My team and I watched the radar all day long for breaks in the rain, and during their reception just before sunset, the skies cleared and we had the most magical rainbow. It was truly a fairytale moment for these two!

Here are some of my favorite moments to look for on the blog…

• Briana’s first look with her dad, it almost brings me to tears seeing these two together! They are the sweetest!!
• Briana and Austin love the movie UP, so they incorporated that into their shoes and socks as a fun details to have together
• Briana’s first look with Austin, the sweetest moment shared with these two sweethearts before the ceremony
• The indoor ceremony space upstairs at Amazing Graze, with a glass window in the shape of a cross
• All the happy tears that were shed during the ceremony! There were so many!!
• The rainbow that appeared magically during the reception. Everyone went outside to see and take photos!
• The golden hour lighting we got at sunset, and the vibrant colors in the sky were truly didn’t think we would ever see with how stormy it was!
• They shared a private last dance before their sparkler exit, and you could see how vibrant the sunset was through the windows behind them

Briana and Austin, congratulations to you both on your marriage! You two were truly made for one another and I am so happy for you! It was truly an honor to be a part of your wedding day! Thank you for trust me, and being willing to walk through wet fields for romantic sunset photos haha – worth it!! Everything ended so perfectly, it seemed like a dream! Wishing you both a lifetime of happiness as you start this new journey together as husband and wife!

Just before the ceremony, we got the first break in the rain that we had seen that day! No rain for us means the PERFECT time to get photos outside! We hurried outside to snap a few photos next to the barn while guests were arriving and it was perfect! The rain started coming back down hard right after this, and went all the way up until right before sunset.

The cutest moment right after the ceremony where Bri’s parents hugged one another smiling back at the ceremony site!

Austin and Bri are both teachers, so some of their students wrote them notes and they were on display at the reception, along with lots of sweet photos of them growing up.

Our rainbow after a day full of heavy storms! What a miracle!
