Bridal Portraits at the Upchurch

Jenna is finally married!! I absolutely loved getting to capture her and Austin’s wedding day this September! Now I get the honor of sharing her bridal portraits at the Upchurch! I love photographing bridals before the wedding day. It has been so hard to keep these beautiful portraits of her a secret!!

Bridal portraits are one of my favorite southern traditions! It’s such an amazing time to get dressed up before the wedding day and see the final look. It’s the perfect trial run before the day to test out your hair and makeup with your dress on, and you have a full hour to get portraits done before the wedding day. I also love seeing the bridal portraits that get printed or gifted to parents after too!

The Upchurch is one of my favorite local venues and it has so many stunning places on the property for photos. This incredible historic home has beautiful lighting indoors for portraits! We started her bridals indoors downstairs with white walls, a historic wooden staircase, and the beautiful window lighting I love so much. The front porch is also a staple for bridals! It’s the perfect southern style home and so classy. I especially love the photo of Jenna on the couch!

Jenna had such a beautiful bridal look. She actually had them add on to the dress to make it exactly what she wanted – and it ended up so perfect! Her dress has a beautiful square neckline, buttons all the way down the back, and a beautiful scoop on the back that she added! She also wore a long veil with lace to add to the bridal look. She looked AMAZING!
