Bill and Eric

Bill and Eric are the sweetest couple and I loved getting to know them both more at their engagement session! We did their spring Raleigh engagement photos at WRAL gardens, surrounded by beautiful greenery, and then headed to Dix Park to take photos with their sweet dog, Socks.

When they originally reached out to me about photographing their wedding day, they mentioned they were looking for a photographer who could capture both candid and classic wedding day images, and said I checked all of their boxes! This is exactly how I love to capture my couple’s wedding days. I’m so thrilled they found me! I love getting to do engagement photos for all of my wedding couples, and theirs was so much fun!

Spring at WRAL Gardens

Our first stop for their spring engagement session was WRAL Gardens. I love being able to wander through the gardens here and find beautiful spots for photos around every corner! It’s especially gorgeous in the spring and summer. We were surrounded by lush foliage and greenery. This is one of my most popular places couples choose to take their engagement photos each year.

Next, we made our way to Dix Park, a hidden gem in the heart of Raleigh. With its wide open green fields and stunning views of the city skyline, it was the perfect spot to capture Bill and Eric’s love story. They live near this park and get to spend time here with their dog Socks, so of course we included him too! Socks has so much personality and I loved getting to meet him before the wedding day! Ending their engagement session with a glowing sunset behind the Raleigh skyline couldn’t have been more perfect.

Bill and Eric are planning to have a beautiful October Wedding day in Raleigh. They will say their “I do’s” on the lawn at Heights House in Downtown. They instantly fell in love with the intimate atmosphere and stunning architecture. Bill and Eric love to travel together, and got engaged while on a trip to Venice. The architecture at Heights House reminded them of Italy and knew it was perfect for their Raleigh wedding day.
