Ramsey and Ryan

Oh Ramsey and Ryan… to know them is to love them!! From the moment we had our first phone call I knew getting to know them and working together was going to be so much fun. Ryan actually reached out to me to photograph their surprise proposal at Duke Gardens, and sadly, I wasn’t available! Then came wedding planning, and somehow, we found one another again! Working with them has felt like the kind of joy you feel running on the beach during the sunset in the summertime, which is exactly what we all did together for their engagement photos at Topsail Beach!

Mother nature truly showed up for us that evening. We were treated to a sunset that was absolutely breathtaking, painting the sky in the prettiest coastal hues. It felt like a Taylor Swift music video – truly! Ramsey and Ryan radiate so much joy to everyone around them. Their smiles are infectious, and their playful energy made the evening together so wonderful and fun!!

Ramsey and Ryan’s love story began at a bar on New Year’s Eve. They hit it off instantly! The connection was so immediate that both of them went home that night and told their friends they had just met the person they were going to marry. And now here we are!!

This May, these two officially tied the knot at Carolina Grove. Getting to be a part of their journey and getting to know them both has been so refreshing and wonderful. They are incredibly kind and have a way of making everyone around them feel welcome. These two truly match each other’s energy perfectly, from the sweet little moments to the silly laughter.
