Sara and Erik had a small wedding ceremony in December 2020 after rescheduling their original wedding plans. They finally had their large wedding celebration with all their family and friends at Rose Hill Estate this August! It was a simple and absolutely classic wedding with dusty blues and hints of pink throughout the day.

Sara started out the morning with mimosas and matching robes with her girls. When she was living in New York she went to Kleinfelds to choose her wedding dress, and it was perfect for her!! It was a beautiful classic lace gown with buttons down the back. The guys all started their day with some sporting clay shooting at Rose Hill. So fun!!

One of my favorite moments from before their ceremony was Sara’s first look with her dad. His reaction was so sweet, and they both teared up. Father daughter moments like this always pull my heartstrings!!

They had their ceremony at the gazebo on the pond behind the estate house. They were married by one of Sara’s close friends and sorority sister, Paisley. It was a hot summer day, but the time flew by watching these two!!

Their reception was one big dance party all night long. DJ Randy from Bunn DJ Company kept everyone on the dance floor for hours. Even their grandparents were dancing all night!! They ended their night with a sparkler exit into the main house. It’s tradition at Rose Hill for the couple to stay in the house the night of the wedding, and the couple waves from the second story to everyone out the window.

Sara and Erik, thank you so much for having me be a part of your wedding day! I loved getting to meet your family and friends and celebrate with them. Congratulations again to the both of you!!
