Yates Mill Engagement Photos for Kayla and Draper

Kayla and Draper are getting married THIS WEEKEND!! I am so excited for their wedding day at The Paisley Barn in Benson, NC! We took their engagement photos earlier this year at Yates Mill Park in Raleigh. We took these photos so long ago and it feels like just yesterday!

This park is beautiful during the fall and winter months because of the wooded trees. It allows for plenty of beautiful filtered light and golden colors! Yates Mill has a historic mill, waterfall, and a bridge over the pond where fishermen often visit.

Kayla found me through one of her friends Amanda, whose wedding I photographed last year! I always love when couples find me through my brides – it’s so special!!

Draper and Kayla met in high school, so they are high school sweethearts! He proposed to her in December and now 11 months later they have having their dream wedding! They are just so sweet and I have loved having them as one of my 2021 couples. I truly am so excited to be there on their wedding day!! I can’t wait to share more photos from that with you all soon!
