Emily is one of my sweet Spring 2022 brides and I am so excited to share her bridal portraits at the Merrimon-Wynne House! She looked absolutely stunning in her off the shoulder gown with glamourous wavy hair, and beautiful spring florals. Her bridal bouquet for her bridal portraits and her wedding day were so stunning!
Bridal portrait sessions are always one of my favorite things to do for my SHP brides! I am always so excited to see them get all dressed up before the big day. Knowing I am one of the first people to see them all dressed up is such an honor!
While I love everything about Emily’s bridal style, one of my absolute favorite details from her wedding look is her wedding veil. Her mom handmade her a custom wedding veil with lace, and a belt to match. It brought the whole look together! It was so sweet to know that her mom had put so much love into creating that piece for her!
We started Emily’s bridal portraits at Merrimon-Wynne upstairs in the bridal suite. This room is so well known around Raleigh for it’s beautiful light teal wall color, and the lighting inside is always gorgeous for portraits. One of my favorite photos of Emily is her sitting on the couch in this bridal suite!
A few other places around the Merrimon-Wynne house I was sure to stop for a portrait was the grand staircase, the front room with a gold antique mirror, and the side porch. That same gold mirror was the perfect place to hang her dress on the wedding day. The classic architecture and design of this venue makes it one of my favorites, and it will truly never go out of style.
