Austin and Kathryn

These two high school sweethearts are finally married and had the sweetest wedding day at The Harvest House! Austin and Kathryn have been together for years, and it was so clear on their wedding day that they are perfect for one another. Their spring wedding day had so much laughter and joy, and happy tears too!

They had their beautiful spring wedding at The Harvest House in Siler City, NC. I loved the historic charm of the main house where the girls were getting ready! It was beautiful! The property also had a beautiful view of some rolling hills with mountains in the background. Even on a rainy day, this venue was beautiful and made the perfect space for their celebration! We were able to use the many covered spaces around the venue, along with the beautiful stone fireplace inside for all their portraits and it was perfect!

Here are some highlights to look for…

• Kathryn had the sweetest first look with her dad. He was so happy to see her and tell her how beautiful she looked!
• Even though it rained on their wedding day, they were able to have an amazing indoor space for their ceremony that was flipped for the reception. It was beautiful for both!
• Right before the ceremony, Kathryn and Austin did a first touch on the porch of the main house where they could hold hands and talk to one another before the ceremony. They were able to get their jitters out a little bit, cry happy tears, and pray together.
• Their wedding party in general was so much fun, and so incredibly supportive and excited for them! Such an amazing group of friends who kept everyone laughing for photos all day long!
• The Harvest House collected rain water from the wedding day to dedicate to their future children to use in their baptism, which was so thoughtful!
• During their toasts, I watched the weather like a hawk for any break in the rain possible! There was a short moment without rain so we ran outside to get some bride and groom portraits, and they’re some of my favorite of the day!!
• At the reception, Austin and Kathryn had an amazing choreographed first dance! It was so impressive and everyone was in awe of these two!

At the end of the night, Kathryn had a quick outfit change for something more fun and comfy. They had a fun sparkler exit to their getaway car, which was of course decorated by their friends and family! It was the sweetest day for these two high school sweethearts and I am so excited to see the beautiful life they build together on their new journey as husband and wife!
