Spring Engagement Session in Durham, NC – Alexa and Paxton

Alexa and Paxton’s spring engagement photos in Durham, NC were overflowing with charm and gorgeous blooming flowers! This engagement session was extra special because we spent half of our time at Duke Gardens and the other half at the place where their story first began, Ponysauraus Brewery in Durham, NC!

We caught the last of the cherry blossom petals and the very best of the spring flowers at Duke Gardens. As a local NC photographer, this is hands-down one of my favorite spots for engagement photos, especially in the spring! Alexa and Paxton made my job incredibly easy because their love and connection were so evident!

Their story began after matching online even though they had both sworn off dating. After matching and talking for a little, they decided to meet up at Ponysaurus Brewing for a drink in Durham, NC and the rest is history! Paxton then proposed on a perfect fall day while on their favorite hike in Boone, NC.

Heading back to their first-date spot to celebrate this next chapter was the perfect way to wrap up this spring engagement session in Durham, NC. I am so excited to celebrate these two lovebirds next spring as they tie the knot at Donovan Manor! Congratulations, Alexa and Paxton!
