Rachel’s Bridal Portraits

The southern tradition of bridal portraits is one of my favorite parts of the wedding experience with so many of my brides each year! Rachel is a married woman now – yay!! I’m so excited to share her Raleigh bridal portraits at the JC Raulston Arboretum with you.

Doing a bridal portrait session is a great opportunity for a full trial run of your look for the wedding day! This session can be coordinated with your hair and makeup trial so it’s the perfect chance to get photos taken and see your full look. You’ll get to wear your dress for about an hour for your session, so you’ll also get the opportunity to make sure it fits comfortably for the wedding day too!

Rachel had a beautiful a-line style wedding dress designed by Justin Alexander. She found it locally at Maggi Bridal! I especially love all the lace and the back of her dress. It was perfect!

We did her Raleigh bridal portraits at the JC Raulston arboretum where her older sister had done them a few years prior. It was so special for her and her mom to go back to that place for photos when it was her turn! One of the bridal portraits she framed was the same place her sister took her bridal portrait too.
